Yes. We encourage you to apply even while you wait for the results of your standardized exam (WASSCE, A-Level, IB, etc.) Applying early enables the admissions office to review other parts of your application such as your personal essay, extracurriculars, high school transcripts, and to schedule an interview as appropriate. When you receive your exam results, reopen your application, include the results, and resubmit. This process enables the admissions office to make a final decision on your application sooner.

Ashesi accepts transfer students to our undergraduate programs, and if your application is successful you may be eligible to have a maximum of one year of study waived at Ashesi.

To request a transfer to Ashesi, select the “Transfer” option in the online application portal, and provide the following supporting documentation:

  • Official high school completion certificate or university entry exam results
  • Official transcripts from each college or university you have attended

It is your responsibility to ensure that Ashesi has received an official transcript from each institution attended to complete your application.
