A Home
For All

At Ashesi, what happens outside the classroom matters as much as what happens inside. Whether through clubs, sports, cultural events, or late-night conversations in our dorms, students discover who they are and what kind of leaders they want to be.

Housing & Dining

Students live in safe, comfortable residences on and off campus, with most dorms a short walk from classrooms and recreation spaces. Meals are served from three on-campus canteens, with a mix of Ghanaian and non-Ghanaian dishes.

Our Community

Ashesi has a nearly even balance of women and men, and a wide mix of cultures, faiths, and perspectives. By fostering awareness and accountability, we look to create an inclusive and trusted learning environment where every student can thrive.

Clubs, Sports & Recreation

Ashesi has more than 20 student-led clubs and activities, from robotics and business to drama, dance, and sports teams. Students also enjoy art events, and entertainment programs that make campus life active, balanced, and connected.

Student Leadership

Through the Student Council and other representative bodies, students have a voice in shaping campus life and university decisions. Student leaders also help uphold Ashesi’s Honour Code and community of trust, making governance here both a responsibility and a learning opportunity.

Student Resources

We make great effort to provide support services throughout your time as a student on campus, to help make the best of your experiences here. Services include career support, social and academic guidance, among others.

Ashesi has accomplished a lot within a relatively short period of time. We profess many things but perfection isn’t one. We therefore encourage students to help Ashesi continue to seek excellence. Ashesi will be what you make it!
