President

The President is responsible for managing and sustaining the university’s academic excellence and commitment to the values of ethical conduct, innovation, and civic engagement.

The Office of General Counsel manages the general legal affairs of the University, including evaluation and monitoring of institutional compliance measures. The Office also provides advice and consultation on university legal matters and is available to assist with the drafting and review of contracts, policies and practices.

The Executive Assistant to the President provides high-level administrative support to the Office of the President. The office ensures efficient coordination of schedules, communications, and priorities, enabling the President to engage effectively with university leadership, partners, and the broader Ashesi community.

Provost

The Office oversees Ashesi’s academic affairs, setting priorities and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, research, and learning. Working closely with faculty and academic units, the office drives curriculum development, faculty growth, and quality assurance. It also manages key academic resources such as the library, research centers, and writing support, while providing a 24/7 Academic Affairs hotline for student assistance.

This studio advances faculty development and promotes a dynamic Teacher-Scholar model built on research, teaching, service, innovation, and quality assurance. It supports faculty in conducting impactful research, fostering teaching excellence, and securing grants for scholarly growth. The Warren Library provides access to extensive physical and digital resources to support learning and research. With over 35,000 books and 20+ online databases, students can explore materials across business, engineering, computer science, and the humanities.

The Center helps students and faculty strengthen communication and writing skills across all disciplines. It provides support for academic projects such as capstone theses, applied reports, and faculty research papers, while also assisting with professional writing needs in collaboration with Career Services and ODIP. The center offers workshops, editing support, and a 24/7 virtual tutoring service to promote writing excellence.

The Ashesi Math Resource Center supports students with one-on-one tutoring by upper-class volunteer tutors, weekly group tutoring sessions for first-year courses, and revision sessions leading up to end-of-semester examinations. Learn more.

Student & Community Affairs

The Team coordinates student advocacy, community building, and holistic support, including Student Life & Engagement (SLE), Coaching, Counselling & Academic Advising (CCA), Career Services, Health Services, the Office of International Programs and Campus Cohesion, Residential Life, and Food Services. 

The office helps students prepare for life after Ashesi by offering guidance, tools, and opportunities to build successful careers. Through coaching, mentoring, and employer engagement, the Centre equips students to transition confidently into the workforce and make meaningful impact. The CCA provides confidential support to help students succeed academically and maintain overall wellbeing. The Office promotes a campus culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion while supporting international students and global learning opportunities. The office provides immigration assistance, cultural immersion programs, and study abroad partnerships, ensuring a seamless transition for international students. University Administration

These offices provide the essential administrative and support functions that keep our campus running smoothly. From career development and student engagement to health care, housing, and human resources, they ensure that students, faculty, and staff have the resources they need to thrive. 

The Academic Registry manages key academic processes and records for students and faculty. It oversees course registration, timetabling, examinations, and graduation planning, while providing essential services such as transcripts, verifications, and official letters. This office ensures accuracy and efficiency in all academic documentation and scheduling.

The Accounting & Finance Department ensures responsible management of Ashesi’s financial and material resources.
