Faculty and students at Ashesi are engaged in discipline-based research individually, or in teams or clusters. Our research work is largely defined around advancing innovation, and on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Our research approach allows faculty, researchers, and students to engage in knowledge creation across technology, sustainability, and economic and social innovation.
Through partnerships with industry, government, and international institutions, Ashesi’s research is helping to shape and identify tools and resources for Africa’s future, and to educate the students who will live and work on the continent.

The Science, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Design (SEED) Journal SEED is a student-led Ashesi journal that aims to publish high quality peer-reviewed research across the fields of science and technology. It also seeks to promote research into the emerging entrepreneurship and design potential of tertiary institutions in Ghana.
