Summary of event/incident: Students reported that a thief had stolen two (2) laptops and two (2) mobile phones through one of their dorm room windows. The screening net for the window was cut through, and the items stolen from a table that stood next to the window. Security guards reported that they had tried to apprehend an intruder that evening, but the culprit escaped through the shrubs on the university perimeter. The case was reported to the Police for investigation.
