Summary of event/incident: A laptop was stolen from a lecture hall when the owner (a student) stepped outside to grab a snack from the cafeteria. Preliminary investigations traced the theft to an intruder who came to campus in the morning and managed to make his way into the lecture hall. The student whose laptop was stolen confirmed he had seen and questioned the stranger in the classroom beforehand. The stranger claimed was on campus for an interview. The incident has been reported to campus security for investigations.
