BSc.
Mechanical Engineering
The aim of the Mechanical Engineering Program is to educate knowledgeable engineering leaders for Africa capable of leading the industrialisation agenda on the African continent. Students will get a grounding in the core areas of Mechanical Engineering, be able to design solutions to problems in the domain and have the opportunity to explore the sub-themes of thermo-fluids, mechanics, design, and manufacturing. Students will also develop a strong ethical posture with a sense of responsibility and an innovation-oriented, problem-solving approach toward addressing Africa’s manufacturing, design, control, and energy challenges.
