The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission has granted accreditation for Ashesi to begin a master’s program in Intelligent Computing Systems program. The two-year graduate program gives students advanced knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent systems. The curriculum for the program emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical applications, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to innovate and lead in the tech industry.
The program will have two tracks: a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or a Master of Science (MSc). MPhil students have the option of completing an internship in a relevant industry but are also required to complete a master’s thesis. MSc students are required to complete an internship in a relevant industry on a full-time basis for at least three months and part-time for one semester.
Applications for the program are set to begin later in 2024.
