Giving back: Class of 2011 raises money to support Ashesi

Coming off the back of Ashesi’s first alumni homecoming in March this year, the Class of 2011 contributed a total of $3,042 to support Ashesi’s ongoing programmes.

Class representative Albert Asiamah ’11, who presented the cheque, explained that the class “intends to continue supporting Ashesi as much as it can, both as a class and as individual alumni.”

Ashesi’s Associate Director of Development , Matthew Taggart, expressed gratitude to the class for continuing to support Ashesi and explained that the class would get a space named after them on campus.

We would like to thank the Class of 2011 for their generous support. By making this gift they are helping to ensure that the Ashesi experience will continue to get better for students.
