Selasi Kwaku Ocloo, PhD, is a statistician with a rich academic background and deep expertise in distribution theory. He earned his Ph.D. in statistics, where his doctoral research focused on the development and application of novel probability distributions. Prior to this, Dr Ocloo completed a master’s degree in statistics and an undergraduate degree in actuarial science, providing him with a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied statistics.

Dr Ocloo’s research interests span a range of topics within statistical science, including distribution theory, risk modeling, and computational statistics. His work particularly emphasizes the application of statistical methods and probability theory to develop models that provide the best fit to datasets from various fields. He is also deeply engaged in the development of advanced statistical techniques, including multivariate analysis and applied probability, with a focus on their practical applications in various fields such as finance, insurance, and environmental studies.
