Dr. Naa Adjeley Ashiboe-Mensah Doamekpor graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a BSc. (Hon) in Building Technology and a PhD in Building Technology. Her PhD research focused on perceptions and relational dynamics of innovation adoption-decision factors within the Ghanaian building industry and the application of this knowledge to the adoption of building-integrated photovoltaic energy technologies in Ghana. Her most recent research project was an international research collaboration funded by the German Research Foundation (DGF) through the COVID-19 Focus Programme to evaluate the dynamics of urban governance and pandemic resilience in our marketplaces in Ghana.
She is a scholar-practitioner. She has worked in different Ghanaian public and private universities and is a quantity surveyor with over a decade of experience practicing quantity surveying, project, and contract management. She is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a certified member of the Project Management Institute. She has served on the Governing Council and other Committees of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and is a Trainer and Examiner for professional quantity surveyors.
