Kwaku Owusu Afriyie Osei-Tutu (PhD)

Adjunct: English (Language & Linguistics)

Dr. Kwaku Owusu Afriyie Osei-Tutu has a PhD in English from Purdue University, USA, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in English as a Second Language (also from Purdue University). He also holds an MPhil and BA in English from the University of Ghana. His academic expertise lies in Ghanaian Pidgin, Sociolinguistics, Corpus Linguistics, and First-Year Writing pedagogy. Dr. Osei-Tutu engages himself in research that explores the structural and sociolinguistic dynamics of Ghanaian English and Pidgin. He is currently working collaboratively on project to analyse the writing of first-year university students.
