Joseph Agyapong Mensah (PhD)

Full-time Faculty, Computer Science & Information Systems

Joseph Agyapong Mensah is a dedicated lecturer at Ashesi University with over a decade of experience in teaching and research. He holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon, focusing on advanced mathematical theories. Joseph has an MSc in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where his research centred on iterative processes in Banach spaces, and an MSc in Statistics from the University of Warwick, UK, where he explored probabilistic approaches using Copulas.

His research contributions include publications on mobile phone use by motorists and innovations in face recognition algorithms. Joseph has been with Ashesi University since 2009 and the Mathematics Lead since 2018, playing a vital role in shaping the institution’s mathematics curriculum.
