Gideon Ofori Osabutey is a passionate educator who seeks to activate the self-agency of students to take charge of their own intellectual growth, bringing them to a place of heightened curiosity to think about societies and how they can be made more sustainable.
He is an interdisciplinary researcher interested in energy transitions and climate policy, and sustainable urban development in Africa. His interdisciplinary expertise spans climate change science and innovation, environmental governance, sustainable agrifood systems, economics, public law, and educational innovation and leadership, with strong competencies in social science research and public policy.
Gideon has over 15 years of industry experience in international development (having advised development partners like GIZ), management consulting, and entrepreneurship in the FMCG sector.
