Emmanuel Kobina Duncan

Emmanuel Kobina Duncan is a doctoral researcher in English at the University of Ghana. His PhD thesis examines female masculinities and violence in African literary and screen texts, with particular attention to gendered authority, embodiment, and resistance. He holds an MPhil from the University of Cape Coast and is a recipient of the African Association for Rhetoric’s Best Student Paper Award. Kobina has served as an assistant lecturer for the MA seminar The Experience and Aesthetic Representation of Violence in West African Novels and Films at the University of Siegen.
