Ebubechukwu Jane-Frances Ikeji ’26

Ebubechukwu Jane-Frances Ikeji, a second-year student, has quickly established herself as a committed leader at Ashesi. She first joined the school parliament in her first year before taking on the role of Speaker in her second year. With a deep passion for leadership, she dreams of a future in politics, believing strongly that good governance is pivotal in shaping Africa’s future.

As Speaker, she represents the student body in all matters within and outside the Ashesi Student Council (ASC), ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met with diligence and empathy. Her leadership is driven by a vision to enhance student engagement and champion innovative solutions for the school community.

Outside her parliamentary role, Ebube has a vibrant array of interests that highlight her multifaceted personality. As an engineering student, she values the practicality of science, while her creative side shines through her love for designing and admiring paintings. She also enjoys diving into mystery/thriller novels and movies, as well as honing her skills in debating and staying informed on global politics.

Guided by her motto “Stand firm on truth, everything else will follow,” Ebube leads with integrity and resolve, aiming to leave a lasting, positive impact on Ashesi.
