Daniel Oppong-Amponsah is a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Public Policy student at Ashesi University with a strong interest in advocacy, leadership, and storytelling. His work is driven by a commitment to social impact and meaningful engagement within the university community.
Before assuming the presidency, Daniel served as a Career Peer Advisor with Ashesi Career Services, where he supported students in navigating professional development and career pathways. He is also the founder of the Ashesi Speech and Debate Association, reflecting his passion for dialogue, critical thinking, and persuasive communication.
As President, Daniel is focused on uplifting others, strengthening collaboration, and fostering a student community where ideas, voices, and initiatives are valued. He believes in the power of small, intentional actions to create lasting impact.
Outside leadership, Daniel enjoys thoughtful conversations, writing poetry, and exploring opportunities for personal and communal growth. He lives by the mantra, “Give every moment everything; purpose is larger than life.”
