Bonsu Adjei-Arthur (PhD)

Adjunct: Computer Science and Technology

Dr. Bonsu Adjei-Arthur holds a B.Sc. degree in Information Technology from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a master’s degree and a PhD in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), where he completed postdoctoral work in Computer Science and Technology. He is currently an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Ashesi University, Ghana. Dr. Adjei-Arthur is a researcher, lecturer, and software developer specializing in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. His work bridges academic research and industrial development by transforming innovative ideas into practical solutions. He has contributed to software projects such as Tradexx and research projects such as TINC Blockchain-AI. He has published several scientific papers, including SCI-indexed JCR Q1 journal articles, introducing concepts in predictive smart contracts, blockchain-enabled systems, cross-chain architectures, AI-driven blockchain networks, and intelligent transportation and energy applications. He has supervised graduate students, delivered lectures in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to graduate students at UESTC, and mentored researchers in emerging technologies. His teaching philosophy emphasizes developing a strong theoretical understanding of concepts, connecting them to real-world examples, and providing opportunities for students to apply their knowledge to practical problems. He believes effective computing education should bridge theory and practice, enabling students to understand not only how technologies work but also how they can be applied to solve meaningful real-world challenges. Dr. Adjei-Arthur holds IBM Mobile Developer and IBM Security certifications. His expertise combines theoretical innovation with practical software engineering, enabling him to design, validate, and implement advanced computing solutions. His research interests span cybersecurity, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, secure decentralized systems, and intelligent computing applications.
