From Leadership to Strategy
This two-day executive program is designed for founders and senior leaders who want to grow their organizations sustainably while positioning them for regional expansion and investor readiness. Through interactive sessions, participants explore practical frameworks and lessons drawn from real scaling journeys across African markets.

Guided by seasoned investor and technology leader Kris Senanu, the program blends leadership reflection with strategic decision-making to help leaders design growth strategies that are both ambitious and achievable.

Who Is This For?

  • Business founders and executives seeking to scale sustainably
  • Private equity and venture capital leaders identifying high-growth opportunities
  • Senior decision-makers ready to unlock the next level of growth

Day 1 – Purposeful Leadership
Learn from Kris Senanu’s journey as a tech pioneer and investor. Discover how purposeful leadership and technology can break barriers and open new frontiers in Africa’s markets.

Day 2 – Strategic Growth
Dive deep into critical decisions for cross-border growth. Explore proven frameworks, models, and the investor’s perspective on building high-potential, investor-ready enterprises.

Participants will gain three key perspectives: the leader’s mindset for guiding organizations through growth, the operator’s lessons for navigating the realities of scaling across markets, and the investor’s lens on what makes businesses credible and investment-ready.

About Kris Senanu

Kris Senanu is Chairman of Blackrock Capital Kenya, a boutique private equity firm investing in Africa’s technology sector. Over two decades, he has shaped the telco and tech ecosystem as both a corporate leader and venture capitalist. At 35, he became the youngest Managing Director of East Africa’s first publicly listed tech firm, building it from inception to a successful acquisition by the NTT Group.

Passionate about technology-enabled businesses, Kris mentors emerging tech CEOs and supports private and public sector boards in driving digital transformation.

Each day is interactive and practical with focus on facilitated conversations with Mr. Kris Senanu, case study analysis, group activities, interactive exercises, and action planning. Participants will also engage in small-group dialogues and structured networking.

Participants will receive a pre-reading pack including a short reading, a reflection sheet, and a recommended video clip to set the stage for discussion.
