Kwibuka 32: Rwanda Genocide Commemoration

Ashesi University invites the community to the 32nd Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda (Kwibuka 32), alongside the unveiling of two monuments in honor of the victims.
The event will also recognize the courage and sacrifice of the Ghanaian military contingent that served in Rwanda, including Major General Henry Kwami Anyidoho.
This solemn gathering provides a space for reflection, remembrance, and solidarity. It brings together members of the Rwanda community, students, and invited guests to honor lives lost and reaffirm a shared commitment to peace, humanity, and justice.
In attendance will be the Rwanda High Commissioner and her team, members of the Rwanda community, and Ashesi’s Rwandan students.
