LLB322 Criminal Law II
Applying the knowledge of the General Part acquired in Criminal Law I, this course studies the major and most frequently occurring statutory offences in Ghana. we discuss the elements of each crime and reflect briefly on why the conduct involved has been proscribed
The course aim to equip students to:
- Identify and determine the legality of a purported offence or punishment.
- Assess fact patterns and competently decide whether or not the elements and thresholds of a crime are found therein,
- Critically analyse case law to make novel arguments.
- Engage in advocacy and reform when the law is overtaken by time
