Applied Project
The Applied Project is characterized by its engagement with a real-life organization. Ultimately, students are expected to integrate foundational knowledge and skills gained over time and use them to solve real-life challenges for existing organizations. The successful execution of an Applied Project requires skills sets including research and critical analysis; stakeholder engagement; project management; professionalism and communication.
The student must be committed to the three pillars of Ashesi, and as a true scholar, be able to apply rigorous research and analytical skills to a real-life challenge; as a leader, be able to demonstrate excellent self-leadership and problem-solving skills, all executed in a professional manner; as a good citizen, seek to help an organization to create value and contribute to the body of knowledge on the selected subject matter.
