Built for
Builders

At the Ashesi Center for Entrepreneurship, founders, innovators, and catalysts develop ideas, test solutions, and build ventures through disciplined experimentation supported by mentorship, funding, and a community of builders.

Impact

Ventures in our ecosystem strengthen food systems, improve healthcare delivery, expand access to clean energy, and build digital infrastructure across Africa.

From Idea to Venture

The Roadmap

Builders move through a three-stage pathway that aligns support with their stage of growth. From early idea exploration to validation and scale, each phase provides tailored programs, funding access, expert mentorship, and the infrastructure needed to build, test, and grow viable ventures.

Sector Tracks

Venture building is anchored within four sector tracks that provide domain knowledge, practitioner networks, and stage-appropriate support.

Strengthening food systems, productivity, market access, post-harvest systems, and farmer livelihoods. Anchored in the Nkabom Collaborative.

Improving healthcare access, quality, and system performance. Delivered through the Africa Health Collaborative.

Expanding access to clean energy and climate-smart solutions. Pathways through the Arthur Waser Foundation Award and Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC).

Cross-cutting solutions in education, digital services, financial inclusion, mobility, creative industries, and civic systems.
