Ashesi President Honoured For Education Leadership in Africa
In recognition of his work in higher education in Africa, Ashesi President Patrick Awuah was named one of three 2025 Sunhak Peace Prize laureates during a ceremony held in Seoul, South Korea. An honourary degree award from Sun Moon University followed Awuah’s acceptance of the Prize and further recognized his leadership and impact.

Closing off the Sunhak Peace Prize Ceremony, Michael Lee performs the song “A Million Dreams” from the 2017 film, The Greatest Showman. The performance was among tributes for all other Prize winners.
