Ashesi Founder, Patrick Awuah, was among 250 people around the world nominated Global Leaders 2007. This award by the World Economic Forum recognizes the unique contributions and potential of individuals drawn from a pool of 4,000 leaders around the world.

Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, created The Forum of Young Global Leaders to be “a voice for the future in global thought processes.” In his words, “This unique global network has the potential to tackle global challenges through knowledge sharing and leveraging horizontal networks of collaborative platforms. Together, they form a powerful international force for the global common good.”
