The MasterCard Foundation has partnered with Ashesi University College to provide 200 full scholarships to Ghanaians and other students from across Africa. This partnership aligns with Ashesi’s commitment to increase the number of scholarships available to Ashesi students. It will enable the University to welcome brilliant students from all walks of life, and by recruiting a more pan-African student body, will help spread the positive impact of Ashesi graduates across Africa.
The partnership with Ashesi University College is part of The MasterCard Foundation’s Youth Learning program, which focuses on enabling young people in developing countries – particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa – to make successful transitions to the workforce and lead change in their communities.
We are thrilled and honoured by this partnership with The MasterCard Foundation, not only for its recognition of Ashesi’s promise, but also for the profound transformation it will make in the lives of students who participate.
